The SAM Process: Design & Definition Service is a unique programme which defines an organisation’s software asset management processes, identifies what activities take place, what interfaces are used and what outcomes are expected.  Following this, a full risk assessment is completed and recommendations are made.  This service can be implemented at the same time as Licence Dashboard, thereby enabling you to optimise the entire SAM process.

The Phoenix SAM Managed Service ensures that organisations introduce an effective ongoing software asset management process. Using our SAM Business Management tool, Phoenix Dashboard, senior management and procurement officers can gain access to real-time software utilisation and licence information through a single Web interface.

The SAM Managed Service allows Phoenix Software to work in partnership with your organisation. By using remote access, Phoenix Software's Licensing Specialists can gain direct access to software/licence records and administrate these on a daily basis. With this level of visibility, Phoenix Software can help organisations make more informed purchasing decisions and reduce the risks of excessive spend and illegal exposure to unlicensed software utilisation.  This service ensures that the management of an organisation's most expensive IT asset will be directly administrated by a licensing specialist.

The Phoenix SAM Support Service uses the same business management tools as the SAM Managed Service. Licence Dashboard is installed on the customer's site and configured to continually monitor and maintain the software asset management process.  Unlike the SAM Managed Service, however, Phoenix Software would not be responsible for the daily administration of the software/licence information. This would be left to the organisation's procurement team.  This service ensures that your IT procurement teams are only a telephone call away from a licensing specialist.
