Microsoft Announce New Licensing Options

Following the launch of Microsoft's Enrolment for Education Solutions (EES) to Universities and Colleges in December 2010 Microsoft have recently announced the launch of EES for Primary and Secondary schools customers. From 1 March, EES is available to any sized academic organisation with a minimum of 5 full-time employees (FTE's).

The existing Campus and Schools Licensing Programmes will be allowed to run their course but then replaced with the EES Programme for organisations with 1000+ full time employees and with the OVS-ES Programme for organisations with less than 1000 FTEs (online via eAgreements*).

Microsoft Enrolment for Education Solutions (EES) offers academic customers an easy, cost-effective way to acquire Microsoft software and services through a single subscription agreement. With one annual employee count, EES offers assured coverage for all products licensed institution-wide, the flexibility to add additional products as needed, Microsoft Software Assurance for Volume Licensing and self-service tools for simplified asset management.
