What's new in Office 2010?

There's no doubt about it - with Office 2010 you'll produce your best-ever work, faster and more efficiently. It doesn't matter whether you're on your PC at work or at home, checking stuff on your phone on your way to meeting, or having a coffee in an internet café - you're still in touch.

You can work seamlessly with other people (wherever they are) on those critical changes, broadcast a PowerPoint presentation over the Web from a remote location, and keep plugged in to your social and professional networks - and that's just for starters.

Read on for a taster of what's available, then have a look for yourself at just how flexible Office 2010 is, and at some of the features designed to give you a better working experience.

What's in the Product?

There are so many ways of working effectively with Office 2010 that we reckon it's easier to show you some examples.

Take working from home for instance. It's something most of us do either occasionally or as a regular feature of our working lives. Staying productive as part of a team is simple with Office 2010.

Check out Microsoft's US colleague Doug's short video about how he works from home with confidence, and look at his other clips which cover all the cool stuff in Office 2010!

But which version of Office 2010 is right for you? There are three available, so find out which includes the programmes you want here.

Windows 7 and Office 2010 - A Perfect Partnership

New in Windows 7 are Jump Lists. These are lists of recently opened files, folders or Web sites, organised by the programme you use to open them. It's so quick to keep the things you use frequently close at hand - either on the taskbar or the Start menu.

You can pin items you're currently working on to a Jump List so they're at the top of the list, and just as easily unpin them when you've finished, and Windows 7 allows you to drag documents from your Jump List to Outlook which automatically opens a new email with the file as an attachment.

Have a look at this video clip which introduces you to Jump Lists, and you'll soon have your work right where you need it?
