All the Symantec licensing options available to you ...
The new integrated Symantec Licensing Programmes are designed to streamline the purchase of Symantec security and availability software as well as support and maintenance services. With several programme choices aligned to a variety of business requirements, these new buying programmes offer enterprise customers the ability to earn greater discounts and to effectively track and manage software licences.
The Symantec Express programme is designed especially for small to mid-sized companies that need an easy way to purchase small licence quantities for use within a single country - without the time-consuming negotiations and complexity of signing contracts.
Small and mid-sized business customers can use this programme to purchase all Symantec security and availability software products, as well as support and maintenance service options. The more licences ordered on a given transaction, the greater the pricing incentives. (Volume incentives do not accumulate over multiple transactions.)
The Symantec Rewards programme provides mid-sized and large organisations with streamlined procurement of all Symantec software products as well as support and maintenance services. With volume-purchase incentives and predictable pricing methodology, Symantec Rewards offers the added flexibility of decentralised purchasing. In addition, Symantec Rewards offers online tools and a programmatic way for customers to simplify how they track and manage their band and purchase points.
Companies with branches or affiliates (especially if they are located in multiple countries) will appreciate the global purchasing power offered by Symantec Rewards. Purchases under the original customer's Symantec Agreement Number (SAN), made by any corporate affiliate within the qualified region, earn points that accumulate and count toward the corporate pricing band. Purchases made under affiliate SAN's accumulate and count toward the 'Family' point total and pricing band.
The Symantec Government Buying Programme helps streamline the way government agencies purchase Symantec products, requiring no contract and only a minimal number of licences. The programme simplifies ordering and administration processes, allows agencies to consolidate their buying power to earn attractive discounts - and helps track licences, purchases, and return on investment.
The Symantec Academic Subscription Programme offers academic* institutions throughout the world a flexible way to purchase software licences on a subscription basis.
Bundled with Essential Support (24x7), this programme makes it easy for you to procure and administer your software licences, helping you reduce the total cost of software ownership.
With Symantec Academic Subscription Programme, the process has been improved to allow you to easily renew your Symantec contracts:
