Phoenix Software has won a place on the Buying Solutions' Commoditised IT Hardware and Software Framework Agreement.
Buying Solutions is the national procurement partner for UK public services and is an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce in the Treasury.
It is the largest of over 40 Professional Buying Organisations (PBOs) in the wider public sector and Phoenix are pleased to be able to confirm their supplier status for this framework agreement alongside their other agreements for North Eastern Purchasing Organisation (NEPO), Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) and the Local Government Association (LGA) which serve their respective regions and sectors.
Lesley Meeks, ICT Procurement Director at Buying Solutions said:
"The Commoditised IT Hardware and Software framework agreement has been developed in consultation with our public sector customers and structured so that a wide range of IT products and services can be quickly and efficiently procured via an EU-compliant route to market. We are confident that our customers will find this new arrangement easy to use and will deliver significant savings"
Buying Solutions delivers a fast, efficient, EU-compliant route to market for public sector organisations in what is a vast and complex marketplace - they provide access to over 500,000 products and services through a broad range of suppliers. The diverse customer base spans the largest central government departments, NHS Trusts and local councils, through to the smallest schools.
Mark Gillett, Business Development Director at Phoenix Software explains how this accreditation has come about in response to customer feedback. "For over a decade we have worked successfully with ESPO, NEPO, COSLA and the LGA to deliver best value. By adding a partnership with Buying Solutions to our armoury, we have extended both our geographical coverage and our reach into the Public Sector where we feel that our emphasis on quality and getting things 'right first time' will be welcomed by many."
