Windows 8 and Windows RT Released To Manufacturers

2 August 2012: Microsoft officially announced the release of Windows 8 and Windows RT operating system to Manufacturers

The Public version of Windows 8 will be available from 26th October.

Windows 8 General Availability By October!

At the Worldwide Partner Conference Microsoft’s Tami Reller confirmed that the Windows 8 RTM is all set for release by the first week of August, while the public release will be in late October along with the release of the Windows 8 hardware.
