Phoenix enables digital transformation in the workplace, empowering UK organisations to innovate and transform with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data, AI, security, and collaboration tools.

We are now very excited to grow that team further by hiring a new Business Analyst who will be responsible for documenting system requirements for the development and maintenance of our internal solutions and customer facing portals.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and maintain systems: you will be the interface between business and software delivery teams, able to identify any problems with the current business models, systems and processes and conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions and help introduce these solutions to stakeholders.
  • Product roadmaps: you will work alongside the product stakeholders to help develop and maintain the product roadmap as well as collaborating with strategic stakeholders to understand and document detailed system requirements for new feature and defects.
  • Communication: you will be responsible for regularly communicating the status and progress of stories in development to stakeholders as well as liasing with internal suppliers as required to ensure necessary resources are in place. Ultimately you will be the single source of truth for queries relating to product story implementation.

Why you should apply?

This role is ideal for somebody seeking a fast paced and high-growth environment where you are afforded a huge amount of autonomy and trust. At Phoenix, our philosophy is simple – we aim to be the UK’s leading IT solution and managed service provider and that means we recognise that it’s our people who are the heart of everything we do.

We do this by providing the encouragement, support and skill development that you need to be the very best you can be at work. We are proud of our culture, so much so that we have developed our Culture Blueprint which you can read here.

What are we looking for?

The right person for this role will already have experience in a Business Analyst role although the industry that is within is not important. This role is not suitable for those seeking their first role in the field. In interview you will be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills as well as your experiences of business analyst methodologies and working practices.

Key Skills:

  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
