Data Modelling is one of the features used to connect multiple data sources in Power BI by using a relationship. A relationship defines how those data sources are connected with each other and you can create valuable data visualisations from those multiple data sources.

With the modelling feature, you can build custom calculations on the existing tables and these columns can be directly presented in Power BI visualisations. This allows organisations to define new metrics and perform custom calculations for those metrics.

Join Phoenix and Simpson Associates on  Wednesday 3 February at 10am, for this Deep Dive session where we will focus on Data Modelling and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). We will also explore the basics of building data models in Power BI, including what the best structure is and how to solve common data modelling problems, as well as an introduction to using DAX.
