9:30 – Welcome and Introductions

We’ll kick off the day with introductions.

9:40 – Power Apps 101

Pythagoras’ Power Platform experts will lead a fast-paced introduction session, covering how Power Apps can fit into your business strategy, the benefits of the solution and the concept of citizen development. We’ll also introduce you to the free templates that are available for you to use.

10:20 – Power Apps in Action – Housing Special

We will discuss Power Apps use cases and showcase how those in the housing sector are successfully using the technologies throughout their organisations.

10:40 – Power Apps Investment Overview

We’ll give you everything you need to know about budgeting for Power Apps, from licensing guidance to designing, delivering and maintaining your Power Apps. We’ll also make you aware of any offers and engagements to help you get started.

11:00 – Main session close

We will conclude the main session and begin our optional breakouts.

11:05 – Breakout One: Power Apps Governance and Security

For those that would like to get a little more technical, we will run through the security and governance considerations for Power Apps and offer tips to make your citizen developers’ lives easier when designing and building apps.

11:30 – Breakout Two: Power Apps Ideation

We’ll take you through the process for planning your Power Apps and bringing your ideas to life. We’ll run through our top tips and lead the group through the design process for a potential Power App.

12:00 – Breakout Three: 1-2-1 Consultant calls

Throughout the rest of the day, we will have appointments open for you to book 1-2-1 calls with our business and technical consultants. You’ll speak to someone who works in your sector and can offer tailored advice about the kinds of app you should consider. You can also discuss your Power Apps ideas and get advice on how to bring them to life.

The PowerAppathon Discovery takes place over Microsoft Teams, which you can join from your Teams app or via your browser. It consists of presentations and demonstrations, with optional breakouts and 1-2-1 calls with our Power Apps experts.

The session can be as interactive as you’d like to make it. You’re welcome to ask questions and join in the discussion or sit back and take it all in.
