Discover the latest innovations in Microsoft SQL Server

Due to their latest Microsoft SQL Server update that introduces several extended capabilities, Microsoft has announced that they will be increasing the price of SQL Server by 10% from 1st January 2023.

SQL Server is one of Microsoft’s innovative technologies designed to transform the way organisations use, store, and protect their data. SQL Server provides organisations with easy access and safe storage for their data, to ensure supplier, employee, and customer information is secure at all times.

The 10% price increase only applies to the on-premise editions of SQL Server (Enterprise, Standard, and Web) and is due to the extended capabilities in the latest version of SQL server. The price of SQL Server hasn’t increased since 2012, and during that time over 50 new features have been added to the product. This price increase does not affect the SQL Server Pay-as-You-Go or any of the other Azure SQL services.

Within the latest innovations in SQL Server, your organisation will see benefits such as disaster recovery, analytics of your SQL Server data, enhanced security, and visibility over your entire estate.
