We’re delighted to announce that we have again been recognised by Great Place to Work® UK as one of the Best Workplaces™ for Women in 2025, achieving 9th place! This recognises the inclusive, supportive culture we’ve fostered, and we’re so proud.

In the tech industry, where 74% of the roles are filled by men, ensuring an inclusive environment where women can thrive is essential. That’s why we’re so proud to be named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women.

At Phoenix, we know that meaningful inclusion doesn’t happen by chance. This is why we invest in inclusive practises to ensure diverse perspectives have the recognition they deserve.

Intentional representation
Women make up a growing proportion of our business (around 35%), across technical roles, leadership, and early careers. We’re focused on removing barriers and building pathways for women to lead and succeed.

Supportive career development
From leadership coaching to mentoring and internal shadowing schemes, we’re investing in women’s development every day. Our inclusive policies and flexible working culture support both personal and professional growth at every life stage.

Creating space for every voice
We continue to listen and learn from our female employees by actively involving women in shaping our culture. Our Women in Tech initiatives, employee feedback groups, and open door policy ensure all voices are heard, and we’re accountable for change.

Hear from the women at Phoenix

“Working for a female-run company has been one of the most enjoyable and appreciated aspects of my career to date. At Phoenix, it is clear that as a woman in the workplace I still have “a voice” and everyone is equal together, with the same support and same opportunities.”

“I genuinely feel at Phoenix if you are a good fit for the role, management or otherwise, no matter your age, sex, background etc, you will not be overlooked.  Phoenix is committed to great management, which is why there is such low staff turnover.”

This recognition comes directly from employee feedback through the Great Place to Work® Trust Index™ Survey, combined with an in-depth analysis of our workplace culture and practices. The result? Proof that we’re making progress, and that women at Phoenix feel more seen and supported.

As a woman in tech myself, I feel a deep dedication to providing the women in our business with equal opportunities, and I’m proud to see that work recognised by Great Place to Work. We will continue to move forward with our people-first, culture-focused approach to supporting #TeamPhoenix.”
