We’re officially a JOSCAR member!

We’re now officially a JOSCAR supplier! Acting as a mark of excellence for IT suppliers in the defence, aerospace, and security sectors, JOSCAR represents our commitment to delivering the highest quality IT solutions and managed services to the defence sector.

We have some exciting news to share with you: Phoenix are now officially accredited as a JOSCAR member! This means that we have met the high standards of quality, compliance, and performance required by some of the biggest organisations in the defence, aerospace, and security sectors.

JOSCAR is a collaborative tool that helps buyers and suppliers in these industries to reduce the time, cost, and risk associated with procurement. Being a JOSCAR member demonstrates our commitment to excellence and innovation in the IT industry.

In order to gain the qualification, we went through a comprehensive two-stage process to determine our risk profile and approach to compliance and supporting customers in order to get validation. We were asked questions in several areas:

• Conduct risks
• Security and privacy risks
• Operational resilience risks
• Business continuity
• Product safety and fraud
• Anti-bribery

Our Divisional Sales Manager for Defence, Rob Hennessy, is thrilled about our new position, “Gaining JOSCAR accreditation is a great step for Phoenix’s Defence sector ambitions. JOSCAR pre-qualifies us to work with the majority of the UK Defence Primes, which include the likes of BAE, Raytheon, General Dynamics, and many more.”
