Monthly Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The prize draw is run by Phoenix Software Limited (“Phoenix Software”), Blenheim House, York Road, Pocklington, York, YO42 1NS

2. Eligibility

The draw is open to individuals who have opted in to receive marketing communications from Phoenix Software via the Tech Insider Community and whose details are held on the Phoenix Software marketing database. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

Entry is automatic for all eligible opted-in contacts on the date the draw is run. No separate application is required.

Employees of Phoenix Software, Suppliers, Partners etc. are not eligible for this draw.

3. Prize

One (1) winner will be offered an Amazon gift voucher to the value of £30 (thirty pounds) or the choice to donate £30 to one of our chosen charities. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

4. Draw mechanics

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible opted-in contacts using a random selection process. One draw will take place per calendar month. The draw date will be communicated in the monthly announcement email.

5. Public sector recipients

Phoenix Software acknowledges that many recipients are employed by public sector organisations. Recipients are responsible for ensuring they comply with their employer’s own gifts and hospitality policy before accepting the prize. The voucher value has been set at £30 to assist with compliance under most public sector policies. Phoenix Software does not intend the prize to constitute an improper advantage under the Bribery Act 2010.

6. Winner notification

The winner will be notified by email within five (5) working days of the draw date. If the winner does not respond within ten (10) working days of notification, Phoenix Software reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner.

7. Winner announcement

Phoenix Software will confirm that a winner has been selected by notifying entrants by email – we will only share the organisation name of the winner.

8. Data protection

Personal data used to administer this draw will be processed in accordance with Phoenix Software’s Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Entry into the draw is based on an existing marketing opt-in and does not constitute a new or separate consent to marketing.

Contacts may withdraw their marketing consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any Phoenix Software marketing email. Withdrawal of marketing consent will result in the contact no longer being eligible for future draws.

9. General

Phoenix Software reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the draw at any time where there are reasonable grounds to do so. These terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
