Cloud endpoints for policing

Policing runs on shared devices, on shift patterns across the watch and the control room, and on hardware that outlives its refresh cycle.

This session shows how Windows 365, Windows 365 Link, Intune, and the latest AI capabilities fit real force environments. You’ll see the independent research behind these tools, not just a features tour.

Why attend

  • See Windows 365 for shift-based working, Windows 365 Link, Intune, and emerging AI capabilities in action.
  • See the independent research behind these tools – real figures, not just a features tour.
  • Hear how other forces have moved from pilot to production and get a clear next step.

Value realisation: what the evidence shows

This session is built around outcomes, not features. The wider case for investing in policing technology is already well evidenced:

  • Technology trials have already saved UK forces 347,656 workforce hours and £8.2 million a year. Scaled to all 43 forces, that’s a projected 15 million hours and £370 million a year.

  • Independent research into Windows 365 Link, aimed specifically at shared-device, shift-based deployments, projects 22–30% of unproductive time saved from more responsive experiences and fewer hardware issues.

Officers don’t work a desk shift, so I don’t think their devices should be designed as if they do. What I want people to see in this session is Windows 365 Link doing the unglamorous work. It means surviving a shared login and a shift handover without adding delay to someone’s day.”
