Healthcare Sales Executive.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Healthcare IT Sales Executive to join our team. In this role you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our healthcare IT solutions by demonstrating value to our clients through our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a solid sales background with a desire to understand and sell our healthcare technology ecosystems. Your expertise in IT, combined with your client-focused approach will enable you to successfully meet sales targets while nurturing long-term relationships with healthcare providers.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the healthcare sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with healthcare clients.
  • Identify and cultivate potential sales opportunities through networking, cold-calling, customer and partner referrals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional/virtual teams, to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • To proactively ensure that your own knowledge of all relevant products, services and licensing agreements is up to date.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximise profits while ensuring clients’ needs are met.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • To provide support to the wider team who deal with existing customers.
  • To maintain appropriate customer records on the Phoenix sales order processing system.
  • Use the business tools provided to enhance your knowledge within your customer base.
  • Qualify opportunities, actively seek out new sales opportunities and prospect new customers and manage the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Adhere to relevant Key Performance Indicators for the Sales Team.
  • Support objectives as defined in the company’s information security policy.
  • Perform your tasks in support of data and information security.

Ideally, you will already have:

  • Experience as an account manager, in a relevant sales role
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skill
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • First-rate telephone skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work under pressure, work without supervision and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to plan ahead.
  • Commitment to see a job through to a successful conclusion.
  • A flexible approach to the working day.
  • A strong team player and work ethic.
  • To be passionate about sales and providing an expectation customer service.
  • Keen interest in technology preferable.

This position may require occasional travel to client sites and industry conferences.

Qualifications and experience

  • A Levels or Equivalent
  • Degree Level desirable but not essential
  • Minimum of 2 Years IT Sales experience
